Wow can't believe it is finished already. I was so looking forward to filming my first role in a Dutch feature film called "The Conductor" and now I am done already. I got to play an American girl from the beginning of 1900's and Maria Peters made sure that I got to go all out with chewing gum and all! I am so honoured to have been able to work with such an amazing director and from seeing what I have seen this movie is gonna be a HIT! If you wanna keep updated on the production of "The Conductor" then check the link below.
days have been a wish come true. To be able to work and see one of my favourite writer/director do his magic. I mean I thought the trill was to be selected for the seminar but no not all. The trill was being able to see and witness amazing actors do their magic. Wow like really WOW. I have got to see some incredible performances and got to meet some amazing people. Not to forget that I had so much performing myself as well of course 🙈 never having done comedy scenes like these I am truly happy to be able to experience what I experienced. If there is one thing I have learned the most it was what @paulhaggis said to all of us working in this insane industry and I am saying it in his word "Be fucking grateful to act" and yes I am ... I am FUCKIN grateful ... okay enough swearing 🙊 ... thanks TV Series Festival for hosting and taking care of us all & the cherry on top of all this the seminar donates to an amazing cause -> Artists for Peace😚...
So after a week shooting for Capo di Famiglia I had one day off to prepare for the next production -> CEFD, which stands for "Chinese Entrepreneurship For Dummies". So I guess you understand why the abbreviation :D This is probably by far the most craziest production I have ever done. My character got to chew bubblegum and rollerskate in all her scenes. Two things I love to do :)
I am super curious for the end results because the storyline is crazy and location was even weirder (in a good way). So now all I can do is wait till post production is done :D
2017 started with a big bang! Knowing already a while that I had a role in a new international film called "The Fox" where the lead is played by Morgan C Jones, today was finally the day that I got play my part. Playing opposite Maarten Dannenberg, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. Even in the freezing cold :D
This time is not a wrap for a film or commercial but a skating show. It was a crazy 2 months of designing & making the costumes together with Murielle, editing footage (animation by Jonathan Salariya), choreographing acts and managing the team :D ... now time for vacation!

I finally got to play a nurse in a short film. I had once played a nurse before but that was for a commercial. That was why I was very happy to get the role for this short film. It is always fun doing research on different jobs and their functions because you learn so much more about the world! That is why I love acting :D
This was probably one of the fastest recording I have ever done. I was called at 11am bij Boomerang Create if I was available to come in at 12pm for a voice over recording to be done at 12.15pm :D ... The idea behind this production was that different commercial agencies were asked to make a campaign for the presidential elections. Within a very short period, 1 day exact, each agency had to come up with a positive campaign for Donald Trump and show it on "De Wereld Draait Door" (Dutch tv show) later that day.
wow ... I can't believe that it's done. I officially have done my first lead role in a full length feature film. It's been a rollercoaster of emotions, experiences and immense amount of joy these last 3.5 weeks. I still can't believe it's done. Now all we have to do is wait till mid 2017 for the premiere. Can't wait ... :D
A small commercial I did for a campaign about choosing your vegetables wisely. The idea is that you only buy the amount you need instead of buying in bulk. It was a fun small team with only the camera guy and director!
Today we shot the teaser for the new scifi / triller feature film "Resonance". This awesome project is planned to start near the end of the year and already now I cannot wait to do it. Happy to be part of this amazing project, hardworking crew and of course my talented partner in crime for this feature film Max Croes!
After seeing a casting that a photographer, Latoya van der Meeren, was looking for people with scars for a book she wants to publish, I immediately reached out because I was very curious what the book would be about. She did a small interview and took some photos, which I must say I am very proud of. My scar is something that I am afraid to reveal during shoots because I am always scared that it would do me no good. After seeing her exhibitions of all the other people she had interviewed and take photographs, it definitely opened up my eyes how hopefully one day I will not be ashamed of my scar but proud of it!
